Purchased one handrail before replacing the remainder throughout our home. Expensive, but well worth the price. Easy to wipe down and extremely sturdy.
We purchased this handrail to coordinate with an existing 75-year old railing in our church. It's not a perfect match, but wouldn't be noticed by most people. We did need to drill pilot holes in the railing, so we appreciated the included drill bit. The railing is solid and will be a great help to our elderly church members.
I can’t say enough about the beautiful rails I received for both sides of my stairs. They look so nice and I’ve received compliments on how pretty they look. The customer service was excellent and personable. When I needed my questions answered, I was able to communicate directly by phone or was able to receive communication via email almost immediately. The company was so helpful with my needs and very transparent. I received the rails in one complete piece, as I had requested, and they were packaged well. I was surprised at how this could be done with the rails being so long. I highly recommend Optimum and have already told my friends about the excellent service and quality of the product. The Volute Single Post is perfect for our modern farmhouse style home with a single step entry. Very clean ironwork with simple, sturdy design. I reinforced the attachment to my deck’s older wood steps using steel angle iron secured with 3/8” nuts and bolts. Totally worth a little extra effort. Just in time for Halloween and first snowfall.
I spent almost 6 months completely renovating a property I purchased this year. I purchased many items as you can imagine throughout the process. We purchased minimalist handrail to replace existing square oak handle rail installed by the builder. we installed tow handrails, one on each side of the stair well, to improve safety of grandchildren and older adults using the stairs. The hardware provided worked great, and thankful for the (1) extra anchor, since one hole wasn’t drilled deep enough after driving it in, and the removal ruined it.

Our stainless steel handrail is sturdy and attractive. We had some trouble with the self-tapping screws stripping and not going all the way in using the supplied driver bit, but this improved when we switched to another driver bit we had on hand. It looks great and is very strong. We cleaned it with stainless steel cleaner sprayed on a microfiber cloth, and we have not been concerned with fingerprints on the handrail. This was one of the last steps completed in an extensive remodel project, and we are happy with the outcome!

The rail and brackets were superbly fashioned and very substantial. We couldn’t be happier.
I can't recommend Luis and Optimum Works highly enough. The quality of the handrails exceeded our expectations. They are gorgeous! And don't worry about longer rails coming in sections. They fit together so solidly, you won't even notice the seam. We were installing the rails into a concrete block wall, and made a minor adjustment of shifting to TapCon screws. That made the install even easier! Luis sent touch up paint that covered the blue TapCon screw heads nicely. We had a quote for custom hand rails of nearly $6,000. By ordering from Optimum Works, we got a superior product, installed them ourselves in 1 afternoon and saved over $4000.00. You would be crazy not to order from Luis!
Great quality and great customer service. Every person that comes into our home makes a comment about how much they like the hand rails. Glad we decided to go this way instead of painting our old wood rail.

The railing is very well made. It came with all the hardware, drill bits, and touch up paint/coating needed to install. A very helpful email with installation video was also sent over. I will definitely be using Optimum for any future railings I need.

You need to reposition the screw holes it is not possible to catch a wall stud straight on. Also the supplied screws are way too long.
