To measure:

• Simply take a tape measure and measure your opening from end to end.
• Select the "Railing Length" range that contains the length you need.
• Type in the exact Length that you need in the "Custom Railing Length" box.
  • For example: If you have a 40" inch opening, select the "Railing Length" range for 37" to 48" and then type the number "40" in the "Custom Railing Length" box.
